Manager, Project Management

📋 Description

• Oversee various intricate programs and projects from conception to execution and value realization.

• Assess processes, workflows, and operational models for long-term enhancement, simplification, automation, and risk mitigation.

• Propel innovative solutions utilizing DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, and project management strategies.

• Formulate future-state processes, governance frameworks, and scalable operational structures.

• Develop and uphold project and program plans that encompass scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and success metrics.

• Manage business cases, resource allocation, timelines, and financial oversight.

• Track performance, resolve obstacles, and set up governance, reporting, and leadership communications.

• Spearhead change initiatives and engage stakeholders across operations, quality, compliance, training, technology, and business partnerships.

• Facilitate root cause analysis and solution design sessions.

• Examine operational, quality, and customer experience data, and create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.

• Convert data into insights and recommendations for leadership while monitoring KPIs.

• Identify execution shortfalls and process failures and implement corrective measures.

• Assist in operational readiness for new processes, tools, and business transitions.

• Coordinate urgent operational demands during peak periods.

• Mentor project leaders and business partners while disseminating project management best practices.

• Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering accountability and results.

• Cultivate partnerships across business, operations, technology, compliance, quality, and customer experience domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, managed care, health insurance, operations, or related sectors.

• At least 3 years of experience in leading complex projects, programs, or business transformation efforts.

• Proven experience in employing project management methodologies to achieve measurable business results.

• Familiarity with DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

• In-depth knowledge of Commercial or Medicare service operations.

• Experience in identifying root causes, challenging processes, and implementing sustainable solutions.

• Background in leading cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Capability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex organizational landscapes.

• Proficient in reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, QuickBase, and collaboration tools such as Teams.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification is preferred.

• Experience with enterprise-wide or highly complex business transformation and operational performance improvement is preferred.

• Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid healthcare operations, claims processing, customer service operations, quality, or related functions is preferred.

• Experience with customer interaction review, service issue remediation, operational quality analysis, and readiness planning is preferred.

• Background in root cause analysis, process redesign, and workflow mapping is preferred.

• Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal operational initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with QuickBase development, workflow automation, business reporting, or project portfolio management tools is preferred.
