This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearheading the formulation, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Professional Education strategy and programs that align with the priorities of the US Surgery business.
• Merging educational excellence with insights derived from data and transformation initiatives in the field.
• Guaranteeing that educational programs directly contribute to commercial performance, portfolio adoption, and customer engagement.
• Grasping and utilizing market, industry, and competitor knowledge to shape the Professional Education curriculum and content throughout the entire learning continuum.
• Ensuring all educational materials are in accordance with commercial strategy, clinical evidence, and customer requirements.
• Overseeing Portfolio transformation support in collaboration with Marketing Product, Clinical, and Disease State Knowledge.
• Performing education needs assessments and continually refining programming based on shifting market and portfolio priorities.
• Successfully navigating the matrix work environment to foster cross-functional partnerships, create followership, and exert influence without direct authority.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external faculty and vendors to effectively develop Professional Education programs and content.
• Comprehending and utilizing both existing and emerging technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Ensuring that US program content and curriculum are aligned with the US commercial strategy and submitting all materials through the Copy Review process.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably within the medical device industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in advanced healthcare commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Sales Training, Professional Education, Brand Marketing, Sales Management).
• An MBA or certification in a field or program related to education or training is preferred.
• Familiarity with adult learning methodologies.
• Experience in instructional design, such as creating curriculum for healthcare providers.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding business strategy and translating it into educational solutions that align with the company’s objectives.
• Experience in developing and managing KOL relationships as well as external partnerships and vendors to deliver impactful learning experiences.
• Strong skills in influence management, as well as oral and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
