This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Guide, mentor, and nurture the Development Services team members
• Supervise clinical trial supply production processes and ensure projects stay on track
• Track operational progress, manage priorities, and offer escalation assistance for intricate supply chain issues
• Facilitate packaging, labeling, manufacturing support, batch documentation, and planning activities for production
• Guarantee adherence to GMP, GDP, regulatory standards, and departmental protocols
• Propel problem-solving efforts and planning for risk mitigation regarding project timelines
• Assist in ensuring supplier compliance, quality metrics, training adherence, audits, inspections, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in the clinical supply chain across various global regions
• Contribute to operational excellence, process enhancement initiatives, and lean management strategies
• Aid business expansion through internal projects, client-facing initiatives, and strategic operational planning
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Approximately 6 to 10+ years of experience in clinical trial supply chain, pharmaceutical production, clinical logistics, or a similar regulated setting
• In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and clinical supply chain operations
• Experience in production planning, packaging design, labeling processes, and supply chain execution
• Ability to identify risks, address operational challenges, and execute mitigation strategies
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proficient in English communication
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and operational decision-making capabilities
• Expertise in clinical trial supply chain operations and GMP-regulated settings
• Experience in supporting packaging, labeling, production planning, and clinical supply activities
• Preferred experience within a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) that supports clinical trial supplies
• Previous experience in people leadership or team management preferred
• Experience in leading global or geographically dispersed teams preferred
