Manager, Private Client Services – US Seasonal Tax-Financial Services Organization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze intricate individual tax returns for Private Tax clients.

• Provide assistance to clients throughout the seasonal tax preparation period.

• Engage in complex tax planning and compliance initiatives.

• Act as a primary point of contact for both clients and colleagues.

• Collaborate effectively with a virtual team and offshore shared services center.

• Organize and oversee multiple complex projects efficiently.

• Contribute to fulfilling client tax obligations and delivering high-quality results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Enrolled Agent (EA), or active membership in a state bar.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in tax compliance for private clients within the financial services sector.

• Proven experience in conducting thorough reviews of complex tax returns.

• Familiarity with Individual, Gift, Trust, and Estate Tax Returns—1040, 1041, 706, 709.

• Ability to prioritize strategically while managing multiple complex projects.

• Exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Comfort with remote work in a virtual team setting, including collaboration with an offshore shared services center.

• A demonstrated history of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements, preferably with a top or mid-tier firm.
