This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the drafting, reviewing, and management of all AMER employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and separation agreements.

• Ensure that all employment documentation is legally compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with US federal and state regulations.

• Collaborate with legal counsel as needed on complex or non-standard employment arrangements.

• Oversee the complete US benefits administration, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and wellness reimbursements.

• Manage open enrollment processes, vendor relationships, and respond to employee benefits inquiries.

• Ensure that benefits programs are competitive, compliant, and effectively communicated to all US employees.

• Design, write, and maintain US people policies that are legally compliant and supportive of employees.

• Proactively monitor changes in AMER federal and state employment law and update policies accordingly.

• Ensure that our US Employee Handbook is up-to-date, consistent, and reflects our company values.

• Manage all US immigration processes, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, green card sponsorship, and I-9 compliance.

• Act as the internal expert on immigration matters.

• Support the entire US employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

• Be the trusted point of contact for US employees regarding all people-related inquiries and processes.

• Collaborate with the global People team to ensure that US processes align with global standards.

• Support HRIS data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system adoption.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HR/People experience with a strong focus on US-specific expertise.

• Demonstrated experience in a SMB SaaS or technology company.

• Practical experience in US benefits administration.

• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms including Workday, Namely, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Rippling, or Lattice.

• Strong understanding of US employment law across federal and various state jurisdictions.

• Proven experience managing US immigration processes, including H-1B, OPT, green card sponsorship, and I-9 compliance.

• Exceptional policy writing skills.

• Experience in drafting and reviewing employment contracts and separation agreements.

• A self-motivated individual who takes ownership, operates with high integrity, and excels in a fast-paced environment.
