Manager, People and Talent Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire I-9 processing and E-Verify compliance, ensuring timely completion, reverifications, proper storage, retention, and conducting periodic internal audits and remediation.

• Develop and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps; pinpoint automation and self-service possibilities to minimize manual interactions.

• Manage employment verifications and unemployment claims through reliable vendors in collaboration with the company's Heads of People.

• Take charge of the daily functional administration of Greenhouse ATS — including user access, workflows, job approvals, and troubleshooting for recruiting users.

• Handle the management of recruiting tool subscriptions, licenses, and expenditures with Finance; create and maintain recruiting reports and dashboards that reflect pipeline, time-to-fill, and compliance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations, showcasing ownership of compliance, employee relations, or immigration programs.

• Proficient understanding of I-9/E-Verify requirements, multi-state employment laws, and federal reporting responsibilities (EEO-1, ACA).

• Proven experience in managing third-party HR vendors, holding accountability for Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and service quality.

• Practical experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Greenhouse; familiarity with recruiting compliance and EEO/OFCCP regulations.

• Proficient in Workday HRIS; comfortable with data validation, reporting, and system workflows.

• Previous experience in a private equity-backed, multi-entity, or professional services setting is preferred.

• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
