This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in executing and supporting the global payment product roadmap across both digital and in-property channels.

• Play a role in managing various payment capabilities, including gateways, tokenization, alternative payment options, fraud detection tools, and integrations with PMS, POS, and digital platforms.

• Collaborate with Digital, Finance, Security, and Property Technology teams to ensure alignment of payment initiatives with business goals and guest experience objectives.

• Discover opportunities to design and implement AI-driven workflows and agent-based solutions to enhance internal efficiencies, improve data analysis, and enable smarter, scalable operations across payment functions and delivery teams.

• Oversee the certification and onboarding process for global payment vendors across PMS (Opera Cloud), POS, and digital platforms.

• Assist in the development and implementation of standardized certification frameworks, validation processes, and rollout strategies.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure that solutions fulfill scalability, security, and compliance standards.

• Aid in the implementation of alternative payment methods such as digital wallets, regional payment options, BNPL, and real-time payments.

• Support the integration of payment solutions across web, mobile, and property environments.

• Keep track of industry trends and suggest improvements for payment capabilities.

• Work closely with regional teams to address market-specific payment requirements while remaining updated on emerging legal and regulatory obligations.

• Engage in agile delivery processes across multiple workstreams.

• Assist in backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies (including stand-ups and retrospectives).

• Utilize JIRA for tracking progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring visibility into delivery.

• Help manage global payment vendors, including gateways, acquirers, and fraud prevention providers.

• Assist with vendor evaluations, onboarding processes, and performance tracking.

• Contribute to commercial discussions, cost analyses, and optimization initiatives.

• Lead and mentor a team composed of full-time employees and contractors supporting payment initiatives.

• Provide clear guidance, performance expectations, and regular feedback.

• Foster accountability, ownership, and a culture of delivery excellence within the team.

• Support fraud prevention efforts and monitoring across both digital and property environments.

• Collaborate with Risk and Security teams to ensure compliance with PCI and global regulatory standards.

• Assist in identifying and mitigating payment-related risks.

• Help track and analyze payment KPIs, including authorization rates, chargebacks, fraud incidents, uptime, and transaction costs.

• Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.

• Support the delivery of key initiatives such as Opera Cloud migrations, payment integrations, vendor certifications, and platform improvements.

• Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in payments or payment product management.

• 2–3 years of experience in people management, overseeing FTEs and/or contractors.

• Familiarity with payment systems, payment service providers, or digital commerce platforms.

• Experience with global vendor ecosystems and coordination of integrations or certification activities.

• Background in agile environments and proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working across technical and business teams.

• Experience contributing to system implementations, integrations, or technology deployments.
