Manager, Partner Funding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of partner funding at CAF, from tracking pipelines to issuing grants and managing reports.

• Keep real-time insights on partner funding requirements, commitments, timelines, grant statuses, reporting advancements, and partner engagement.

• Monitor grant agreements, reporting timelines, renewals, and compliance obligations.

• Prepare and organize grant letters, agreements, and associated documentation.

• Ensure that partner grant files are comprehensive, precise, and ready for audits.

• Maintain, enhance, and document internal systems, trackers, standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, workflows, guidance notes, and process documentation.

• Identify operational gaps, risks, and inefficiencies while implementing effective solutions.

• Assist in the integration of fundraising, grantmaking, and reporting systems across CAF, FAD, and MEL.

• Consolidate and uphold accurate partner funding information, including brokered, influenced, and directly managed funds.

• Prepare data inputs for informed decision-making, leadership updates, donor reports, and Board discussions.

• Facilitate due diligence, grant review processes, donor reporting, funding summaries, and synthesis of partner data.

• Coordinate CAF's internal processes while aiding in planning and logistics for convenings, workshops, and internal engagements.

• Track actions, decisions, and follow-up items from CAF meetings and workstreams.

• Enhance internal visibility and comprehension of CAF activities through clear systems, communication, and regular updates.


⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional skills in operational excellence, process management, and system development.

• Capability to coordinate the end-to-end processes of partner funding and grantmaking.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate funding data, dashboards, trackers, and information systems.

• Familiarity with grant agreements, reporting timelines, renewals, compliance, and documentation ready for audits.

• Ability to create SOPs, templates, workflows, guidance notes, and internal resources.

• Competence in supporting due diligence, grant reviews, donor reporting, and funding summaries.

• Skill in integrating fundraising, grantmaking, reporting, and MEL systems.

• Ability to coordinate efforts across CAF, FAD, Portfolio, MEL, Communications, and Finance teams.

• Strong capabilities in internal coordination, documentation, follow-up, and communication.
