
Manager, Operations Support – Last Mile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.
• Drive essential quality, inventory, and other vital metrics across the site by leveraging continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• Schedule, assess, and oversee work instructions with supervisors and team members in assigned areas; guide associates to safely and efficiently perform their daily tasks.
• Evaluate facility/department training status and organize training sessions according to established frequency; ensure that training requirements are fulfilled promptly.
• Draft specifications for new developments and enhancements to systems.
• Analyze client needs, identify fit and customizations, create proposals, gather supporting data for cost estimates, and present RXO’s capabilities and solutions to potential clients.
• Act as project manager for system implementations and upgrades; provide ongoing support as necessary.
• Assist in implementations by delivering documented plans, configuring systems, training users, and offering post-implementation support.
• Conduct process and data modeling.
• Generate project ideas and solutions; implement changes within and across departments.
• Utilize and uphold warehouse management system processes to ensure appropriate work documents and outcomes.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in leading value stream assessments and Lean improvement initiatives (Kaizen events).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
• Familiarity with statistical software, process mapping/modeling, and predictive modeling tools (e.g., Crystal Ball).
• Experience in distribution and e-commerce, with a strong emphasis on continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Background in enhancing business processes.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-driven work style; highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Capacity to maintain a positive attitude and foster teamwork in achieving goals and objectives.
