Manager, Operations – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of relationships with both local and corporate clients, focusing on building professional and personal connections that foster trust and respect.

• Advocate for the ethics and values of Medcor, Inc.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the operational environment within the clinics.

• Manage and lead clinic staff, which entails direct and indirect responsibilities such as interviewing, selection, training, motivation, wage and salary administration, providing documented and timely feedback, conducting performance appraisals, setting goals, and developing procedures to achieve those goals.

• Assist in problem-solving at clinic sites and ensure proper usage of electronic medical records by staff.

• Oversee budget management for assigned clinics, which includes maximizing revenue generation and controlling expenses.

• Optimize cash flow and volume while managing the site budget-setting process.

• Monitor performance and take action to ensure that financial targets and objectives are met.

• Ensure accurate monthly financial billing and compliance with contract rates in billings.

• Accountable for implementing standard operating procedures in clinics and driving growth in clinic volumes and services.

• Cultivate relationships with client executives, supervising physicians, and other local healthcare providers as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with the Medcor corporate office to share insights, enhance the quality of clinic services, and address issues in the field.

• Responsible for site coordination with corporate, addressing training needs, and fostering local client relations.

• Coordinate with Medcor and client IT teams to address computer requirements and needs.

• Work with Medcor HR to fulfill staffing requirements.

• Coordinate with Medcor accounting to ensure adherence to accounting procedures.

• Ensure that medical and office supplies are adequately stocked.

• Support training initiatives through the Medcor training department and other staff development efforts as required.

• Initiate and participate in regular staff meetings as well as operations management team meetings.

• Build effective working relationships and communicate well with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals both within and outside the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a healthcare setting or employee health services, including management or supervisory roles.

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.

• Have a solid understanding of workers' compensation and occupational health and wellness.

• Be capable of analyzing, questioning, and discussing variances related to budgets and monthly financial statements.

• Available and willing to travel up to 75% of the time to visit client sites and clinics.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, prioritize effectively, follow through, pay attention to details, and engage in critical thinking daily.

• Strong operational skills with the ability to identify workflow issues and redesign processes while gaining buy-in from all stakeholders regarding changes.

• Proficient in personal computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrate strong ethics and unwavering integrity.

• Hold an EMT, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or RN license.
