• Establish, oversee, and nurture strong professional relationships within the vendor sector for Allstate Canada.
• Evaluate casualty vendor markets across the nation to pinpoint strengths, opportunities, and claims strategies that will adapt to the evolving insurance landscape.
• Execute policies, processes, and procedures related to Vendor Programs, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance.
• Oversee the performance of the vendor network as appropriate based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes for vendors.
• Examine statistical reports, utilizing data to inform decision-making.
• Proactively manage the vendor network concerning loss costs.
• Deliver trending analysis to the Claims Senior Leadership Team.
• Partner with Procurement to ensure that appropriate contractual language compels vendors to comply with regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Supervise and sustain existing programs aimed at improving customer service outcomes.
• Identify needs and gaps, implementing approved solutions intended to boost customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Create opportunities for clients to offer feedback on vendors, producing and maintaining vendor scorecards.
• Lead a dedicated team to support your vision within the vendor domain.
• At least 5 years of experience in a vendor or procurement environment (or a related field in the claims/casualty industry).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in people management or equivalent roles of influence.
• Currently enrolled in or completed CIP, ACIP, or FCIP designation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills and capacity to address conflict resolution opportunities, including intricate issues.
• Extensive knowledge of claims and insurance regulations.
• Collaborative mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Strong influencing skills with a willingness to embrace change.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced knowledge of business technology systems relevant to the casualty claims domain.
• Solid understanding of core management concepts, including Continuous Improvement, Agile, and Change Management.
