πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Spearhead the examination of medical cost trends and their drivers, converting insights into clear and actionable recommendations that enhance MLR performance.

β€’ Enhance the existing MLR Trend Analytics toolkit within a developing enterprise data warehouse (EDW) framework, focusing on organizational governance and streamlined processes.

β€’ Work collaboratively across Clinical, Operations, and Actuarial teams to identify, prioritize, and assess initiatives aimed at improving cost and quality outcomes.

β€’ Measure the financial impact of initiatives and monitor performance against underwriting targets and operational objectives.

β€’ Create and present clear, impactful presentations for senior leadership, distilling complex analyses into business-relevant insights.

β€’ Support and manage ad hoc analyses in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree is required; an actuarial designation (ASA or FSA) is advantageous.

β€’ At least five (5) years of pertinent experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial science, or medical economics.

β€’ Advanced knowledge of healthcare cost drivers, MLR, and value-based care models.

β€’ Experience in constructing and presenting analyses using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

β€’ Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and/or Python/R.

β€’ Proven track record of converting data into actionable insights and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

β€’ Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to leadership audiences.

β€’ A critical thinker and self-starter, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

β€’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
