This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead the examination of medical cost trends and their drivers, converting insights into clear and actionable recommendations that enhance MLR performance.
β’ Enhance the existing MLR Trend Analytics toolkit within a developing enterprise data warehouse (EDW) framework, focusing on organizational governance and streamlined processes.
β’ Work collaboratively across Clinical, Operations, and Actuarial teams to identify, prioritize, and assess initiatives aimed at improving cost and quality outcomes.
β’ Measure the financial impact of initiatives and monitor performance against underwriting targets and operational objectives.
β’ Create and present clear, impactful presentations for senior leadership, distilling complex analyses into business-relevant insights.
β’ Support and manage ad hoc analyses in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required; an actuarial designation (ASA or FSA) is advantageous.
β’ At least five (5) years of pertinent experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial science, or medical economics.
β’ Advanced knowledge of healthcare cost drivers, MLR, and value-based care models.
β’ Experience in constructing and presenting analyses using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
β’ Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and/or Python/R.
β’ Proven track record of converting data into actionable insights and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
β’ Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to leadership audiences.
β’ A critical thinker and self-starter, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
