📋 Description

• BBQGuys is seeking a Manager of Marketing Analytics to serve as the analytical backbone of our performance marketing team.

• This position is focused on enabling decision-making rather than simply generating reports and dashboards.

• You will convert intricate, multi-source marketing data into actionable insights that guide channel investments, enhance attribution accuracy, and link media performance to revenue results.

• You will be part of the CAMP (Customer Acquisition, Performance Marketing) team, working closely with channel managers across various platforms including paid search, paid social, email/SMS, SEO, affiliates, display, and Amazon.

• Additionally, you will act as the key marketing liaison for our Enterprise Data team, ensuring the analytics framework we establish meets the decision-making requirements of the marketing team.

• You will report directly to the Senior Director of Performance Marketing while maintaining a dotted-line connection with the Enterprise Data Team to ensure data infrastructure and governance are aligned.

• This role is a single contributor managerial position, initially without direct reports, but you will oversee processes and systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in marketing/media analytics.

• A background in retail or e-commerce (minimum of 2 years).

• Expertise in enterprise web analytics.

• Hands-on experience with custom implementations, evar/channel configurations, and addressing data quality challenges, beyond just functional knowledge.

• Proficiency in Adobe Analytics is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with multi-touch attribution (MTA) platforms.

• Strong skills in reporting and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio and Power BI.

• Experience with data aggregation and pipeline tools like Supermetrics (Google Sheets and API Studio) or similar.

• Proficient in SQL or a similar query language; comfortable with independent data exploration and quality assurance.

• Proven ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in a cross-functional environment with both technical (data/engineering) and non-technical (marketing) teams.
