This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop Habitat’s expansion strategy by researching state-by-state PACE regulatory landscapes, which includes tracking PACE RFPs, conducting state prioritization analysis, and supporting PACE advocacy initiatives.
• Prepare and submit Habitat’s federal and state applications for both existing and new state expansions, ensuring project management for cross-functional collaboration on the application process, as well as crafting narratives for application responses.
• Complete the licensing and renewal processes for the PACE program, including researching the licensing requirements for new states.
• Assist in identifying and engaging local community stakeholders to raise awareness about PACE and garner support for PACE expansion and Habitat's market entry.
• Facilitate regulatory engagement by pinpointing key regulatory stakeholders to educate them about PACE, advocate for its expansion, and foster support for Habitat.
• Bring a flexible, proactive mindset with the capability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• 3-5+ years of experience in the Medicare and Medicaid regulatory landscape, with a preference for experience related to PACE-specific applications and licensing.
• 2-4+ years in management consulting or an operations/policy role within a high-growth startup, ideally within the health care delivery sector.
• Preference for experience in federal or state legislation, particularly related to healthcare budgets.
• Preference for background in federal or state advocacy.
• Proven ability to be a self-starter.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Detail-oriented with expertise in preparing and maintaining records and crafting reports.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured work environment with a high level of self-autonomy and a strong inclination for taking action.
