Manager, LMS Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Academic Technology Solution Owners tasked with optimizing the LMS.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the D2L Brightspace roadmap and associated business practices.

• Assess, test, recommend, and implement features from D2L's LMS releases.

• Ensure effective collaboration between Solution Owners, LMS Operations, and partners.

• Work closely with Global Campus operational teams to implement technology solutions.

• Guide the team in coordinating and documenting requirements with partners.

• Ensure the identification and evaluation of technologies aimed at improving user experience.

• Collaborate with UX Research to improve the user interface for learners and faculty.

• Oversee problem management and incident reporting related to the LMS.

• Monitor advancements in academic technology to enhance the LMS experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS).

• At least 3 years of experience leading LMS operational programs.

• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification (e.g., GED).

• Familiarity with D2L Brightspace or equivalent learning management systems.

• Experience in Product Management, including analysis, change management, roadmap delivery, and addressing partner needs.

• Knowledge of Agile fundamentals, encompassing backlog management and translating requirements into measurable outcomes.
