Manager, Learning and Development – Training Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in developing and implementing training strategies while identifying and delivering training solutions for global Precision for Medicine functions.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create learning programs in areas such as translational sciences, clinical operations, project management, GCP, data management, and regulatory/compliance.

• Act as the main point of contact for training requests.

• Organize and monitor onboarding processes specific to new hires' roles.

• Create and conduct instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs that align with adult learning principles.

• Offer initial triage and support regarding training tools, templates, and materials.

• Oversee and assist with learning platforms and systems utilized by the Learning & Development (L&D) function.

• Keep training documentation, records, and regulatory reports up to date.

• Develop and uphold role-based curricula, conduct annual curriculum reviews, and ensure training-hour requirements are met.

• Work in partnership with functional leadership, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and L&D leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, postgraduate degree, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare field.

• 4–6 years of experience in learning and development supporting delivery teams within a Clinical Research Organisation (CRO).

• Skilled in using learning development platforms.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Excellent writing and recordkeeping capabilities.

• Competent in planning and managing multiple complex projects.

• Ability to foster positive working relationships with both internal and external individuals and teams.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial processes related to clinical development plans.

• In-depth knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines concerning clinical trial management.
