Manager, Learning and Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate training requirements, create and develop suitable content, and implement effective learning solutions.

• Oversee the organization and execution of onboarding specific to new hires at Precision for Medicine, including relevant scheduling and tracking.

• Create and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs that adhere to adult learning principles.

• Act as the primary point of contact for training requests, providing advice on available tools, templates, and resources.

• Manage and support the learning platforms and systems utilized by the Learning & Development (L&D) function.

• Ensure precise maintenance of training documentation, records, and reporting, in line with regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with functional leaders to establish and uphold role-specific curricula across functions, including documented annual reviews of curricula and training hour requirements, updating as necessary to align with regulations, organizational needs, or role expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare field.

• At least 4-6 years of experience in clinical trials within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors, with a minimum of 4 years in roles focused on training and development related to clinical trial execution supporting delivery teams.

• Proficiency in learning development platforms.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.

• Strong writing and recordkeeping skills.

• Capability to plan and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to cultivate positive working relationships with individuals and teams both internally and externally.

• Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial processes concerning the execution of a clinical development plan.

• In-depth knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines related to clinical trial management.
