Manager, Learning and Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Learning and Development Manager acts as a strategic technical partner within the Quality department, tasked with advancing the company’s digital learning ecosystem.

• Concentrates on the comprehensive lifecycle of technical training, from the architectural design of the Learning Management System to the development of impactful, interactive instructional content.

• Modernizes numerous Standard Work Instructions by converting them from static documents into dynamic, multi-media learning modules.

• Functions as a regional consultant for site leadership, delivering the necessary technical training, data insights, and system support to foster rapid organizational growth while adhering to strict audit and compliance standards.

• Aids in the creation of interactive content, training videos, and gamification modules to transform "read-only" instructions into engaging learning experiences.

• Oversees daily system maintenance, directly troubleshoots with users, and executes the technical roadmap for LMS phase development.

• Acts as a technical point of contact for sites, training site leadership on LMS management, and communicating available metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a B.S. in Instructional Design, Computer Science, Education, or Quality Systems is required.

• Proficient knowledge of LMS architecture, video creation and editing, and Google Workspace tools is essential.

• Prior experience using Gemini or Notebook LM to facilitate rapid content development is preferred.

• Must be an excellent communicator who can convey complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.

• Strong grammar and writing skills are necessary.

• Ability to engage with diverse audiences, ranging from executive leadership to site-level associates, is crucial.

• Capable of managing multiple content projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on rapid site growth.

• Familiarity with document control, high-tech environments, and the quick deployment of content is important.

• Preferred - Certification in Instructional Design.
