Manager, IT Change Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a seasoned and innovative Manager of IT Change Management to implement structured, scalable change management practices throughout our IT division.

• This position is vital in guaranteeing that every technology project we undertake—whether it involves modifying existing software or fully deploying a new platform—successfully meets the needs of its users.

• The role involves both hands-on responsibilities and coaching; you will take direct ownership of and execute all change management activities from start to finish for select initiatives.

• Act as a strategic coach and advisor to project teams, assisting them in independently executing change management activities for other projects.

• Become the ambassador for change management within the organization by developing and sustaining a reusable, shareable change management framework that scales according to project type and complexity.

• Utilize AI at every phase of the change lifecycle to achieve quicker, more intelligent, and impactful results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of specialized change management experience, particularly in IT and technology transformation projects.

• Demonstrated ability to apply industry-standard change management frameworks across a variety of projects of different sizes and complexities.

• Proven capability to function in both a hands-on practitioner role and a coaching/advisory capacity, with sound judgment regarding when to employ each approach.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; a proven track record of translating complex technical changes into clear, engaging, human-centered content.

• Exceptional presentation skills, capable of confidently engaging audiences ranging from frontline employees to C-suite executives.

• Experience in building and managing networks of change champions.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira, Smartsheet).

• Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) for professional tasks such as drafting communications, summarizing documents, generating content, or analyzing feedback.

• Proficiency in writing effective AI prompts (prompt engineering) to generate high-quality, context-appropriate outputs for change management deliverables.

• Experience in leveraging AI to expedite content creation—including stakeholder-segmented communications, training materials, FAQs, and presentations—while upholding quality and human review standards.

• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics or survey tools for analyzing qualitative feedback, identifying sentiment trends, and uncovering patterns in large datasets.
