This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding domestic and international fund accounting operations and administration.
• Oversee the team responsible for daily accounting operations related to assigned mutual funds, CITs, ETFs, and other pooled investment vehicles.
• Assist with annual audits and facilitate the onboarding process for new funds and clients.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, external service providers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and controls while delivering accurate Net Asset Values (NAVs).
• Supply information to the Financial Reporting team for annual and semi-annual financial statements.
• Prepare and review SEC filings, including N-PORT and N-CEN documents.
• Support the Tax department with distribution calculations and tax reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Treasury Services on annual fund expense budgets, quarterly updates, and expense payment reviews.
• Prepare and review materials for Board meetings.
• Review and approve NAVs, reconciliations, revenue packages, dividend distributions, and other fund administration items.
• Communicate with external investment managers to resolve fund-related issues.
• Conduct performance evaluations and hold monthly one-on-one meetings with team members.
• Provide guidance on career development, training, and individual growth.
• Participate in the interview and hiring processes.
• Promote team development, manage promotions, and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist business development and relationship teams with prospective client calls, client visits, and presentations.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new and converted clients.
• Attend IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the fund services industry.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a daily processing environment.
• Proficient in fund accounting software.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional leadership, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
