This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and implement content strategies that align with company-wide objectives, enhance recognition programs, and engage employees with our mission and values.
• Oversee the complete process of internal communications, including content development and distribution through email, intranet, newsletters, Workplace, and events.
• Administer the internal communications calendar, managing requests from various departments, prioritizing clarity and timing, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Create and curate content for diverse formats and audiences, such as company-wide newsletters, updates from executives and leadership, DEI initiatives, cultural and wellness campaigns, town halls, leadership presentations, video scripts, audio recordings, and talking points.
• Advocate for contemporary content delivery methods, emphasizing short-form, visual, and shareable formats instead of lengthy, text-heavy communications.
• Provide consultation and support to functional teams regarding messaging tone, structure, and best practices to enhance internal storytelling and foster employee trust.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of the company intranet (e.g., LumApps), including editorial planning, content quality assurance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders for story sourcing.
• Ensure that sensitive communications for protected audiences are conducted with discretion, security, and care.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the company’s digital employee experience, ensuring that all content platforms are current, user-friendly, and accessible.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in positions focused heavily on internal communications, corporate communications, and/or branding.
• A strong passion for storytelling and improving the overall employee experience.
• Knowledge of best practices related to communications and digital content.
• Capability to contribute to a collaborative and effective cross-functional editorial and content strategy.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and communication tools/platforms (e.g., intranet, email distribution, engagement software).
• Background in supporting creative production processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in proofreading and editing with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in writing and editing in various styles and formats, ensuring content is engaging, clear, accurate, and actionable.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills applicable in both in-person and virtual environments.
