This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Manage the daily administration, coordination, and execution of designated insurance programs and associated services for Y-USA.
• Act as a key resource for internal stakeholders concerning insurance programs, coverage options, program requirements, processes, and available resources.
• Address inquiries and facilitate connections with insurance, broker, or risk management partners as necessary.
• Build and sustain relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, consultants, vendors, and other external partners.
• Coordinate activities, resolve service or program issues, and assist in the effective delivery of insurance-related services for Y-USA.
• Collaborate with leadership and external insurance professionals to assess current programs and explore opportunities for new or improved insurance solutions.
• Keep abreast of emerging developments in the insurance industry, including coverage trends, regulatory factors, claims trends, and organizational risks.
• Communicate pertinent developments and advise on appropriate actions or resources.
• Track participation, utilization, claims data, service levels, and other program metrics to assess effectiveness and identify trends.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations for leadership as necessary.
• Coordinate and assist with insurance program renewals, coverage assessments, market analyses, and other periodic program activities.
• Develop and maintain insurance-related guidance, tools, educational materials, communications, FAQs, and additional resources.
• Support webinars, meetings, presentations, training sessions, and other educational opportunities related to insurance programs and organizational risk.
• Simplify complex insurance concepts into clear, actionable information for Y-USA leaders and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of programs, agreements, policies, procedures, and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Identify opportunities to enhance insurance program processes, communications, and technology.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities associated with insurance, child protection, organizational risk, and the Y-USA team as required.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business or related disciplines is required.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience is required.
• Advanced functional skills are necessary.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience in the industry are required.
• Entry to intermediate managerial skills is essential.
• Ability to handle complex and advanced functional and operational tasks.
• Capability to manage a team or function effectively.
• High level of decision-making authority within one’s area.
• Focus on policy and strategy implementation to achieve short-term results.
