Manager – Health Information Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, accuracy, and accessibility of patient health information.

• Provides leadership and guidance for Health Information Management (HIM) operations and staff.

• Collaborates with healthcare providers, administrators, revenue cycle leaders, and other essential stakeholders.

• Performs audits of patient records to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Oversees and monitors organizational forms and their correct application in documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in health information management or a related field.

• A minimum of five years of experience, including two years in a leadership capacity.

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical coding systems, and health information technology.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with web-based research.

• Management experience in a clinical environment is preferred.

• Certification in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) is advantageous.

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.
