• Act as the Empowered Official.
• Offer guidance on export/import licensing and manage the license portfolio.
• Assist the organization in formulating export/import licensing strategies to foster business expansion.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements.
• Review, prepare, submit, and oversee various Export/Import Authorizations (Licenses: DSP-5, DSP-85, DSP-73, DSP-61, DOC licenses; Agreements: MLAs and TAAs; Exemptions/Exceptions) to permit the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services.
• Examine and sanction export transactional requests that involve engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports.
• Provide daily guidance and support to SIM personnel regarding export licensing and compliance requirements (e.g., releasability, etc.).
• Interpret and clarify export compliance obligations such as license/agreement provisos, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies and procedures.
• Assist in investigations and assessments concerning potential GT escapes and disclosures.
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in drafting and submitting license and agreement applications to the Department of State and/or the Department of Commerce, along with other authorization requests.
• Familiarity with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources.
