Manager, Global Billing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee global billing operations, ensuring the precise and timely generation of invoices in accordance with contract terms, pricing models, and booking policies.

• Manage the complete invoicing lifecycle after a Closed Won deal, including billing setup, validation, and delivery.

• Guarantee alignment among Salesforce, contract terms, and NetSuite to reduce downstream errors and revenue implications.

• Act as the main escalation point for intricate billing concerns, disputes, and exceptions.

• Lead collection processes, which encompass accounts receivable aging, follow-ups, and resolution of disputes.

• Track and enhance performance against key metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), overdue balances, and collection efficiency.

• Ensure cash applications and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.

• Take ownership of and continually enhance billing and accounts receivable processes to foster scalability and efficiency.

• Identify and execute automation opportunities across systems and workflows.

• Collaborate with Deal Desk and RevOps to ensure a seamless transition from deal structure to billing execution.

• Ensure that billing and accounts receivable processes comply with SOX regulations and are ready for audits.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Global Billing Operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in billing operations or finance operations, ideally within the SaaS or technology sectors.

• At least 3 years of experience in people management.

• Extensive experience with the Order to Cash process.

• Proficient in using NetSuite and Salesforce.

• Comprehensive knowledge of billing processes, invoicing structures, and collections workflows.

• Experience in a high-growth, complex deal environment.

• Familiarity with automation, artificial intelligence, or process enhancement initiatives.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
