This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and audit support.

• Prepare and oversee the generation of financial statements, audit schedules, and financial analyses to assist senior management in decision-making.

• Maintain the general ledger while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.

• Collaborate with various departments to support revenue and expense accruals, analyze fluctuations in financial statements, and clarify budget variances.

• Oversee intricate technical accounting processes, including areas such as revenue recognition and inventory costing.

• Set operational objectives and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals by providing coaching, guidance, and support to enhance performance and professional development.

• Coordinate and facilitate external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit inquiries.

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and general accounting procedures.

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and the use of data analytics tools to boost efficiency, fortify internal controls, identify trends and variances, and enhance forecasting accuracy.

• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements and scalable accounting processes.

• Make complex accounting decisions in conjunction with the Controller and finance leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

• Prior experience in public accounting is preferred, with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles.

• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly with experience in NetSuite or similar platforms.

• Proven leadership capabilities with experience in building, managing, and developing a team.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence key stakeholders.

• Ability to think strategically and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
