Manager, Gas Origination and Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement natural gas supply strategies throughout North American markets.

• Structure and facilitate negotiations for gas supply, transportation, storage, and balancing agreements.

• Collaborate with pipelines, midstream providers, marketers, and producers to ensure a dependable fuel supply.

• Assess basin dynamics, basis exposure, infrastructure limitations, and market opportunities.

• Assist in formulating transportation strategies, including firm, interruptible, and capacity release agreements.

• Analyze and endorse storage and balancing strategies to maintain operational reliability.

• Oversee gas infrastructure development, encompassing laterals, interconnects, and upstream capacity.

• Work together with power development teams to synchronize fuel supply with generation and load schedules.

• Establish and nurture relationships across midstream, pipeline, and gas market participants.

• Aid in the negotiation and implementation of intricate commercial gas agreements.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, legal, infrastructure, and executive teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Energy, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4–8 years of experience in natural gas markets, trading, marketing, midstream, or similar roles.

• Proficiency in transportation, storage, balancing, and physical gas delivery strategies.

• Knowledge of interstate pipelines, capacity release, and gas infrastructure development.

• Experience in power generation or infrastructure development is advantageous.

• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential.

• Capability to assess market dynamics and devise strategic solutions.

• A robust network within the gas, midstream, or pipeline industry is preferred.
