This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Cultivates and nurtures strong, collaborative relationships with clients.
• Gathers feedback from customer Points of Contact (PoCs) to continuously enhance service delivery and strengthen relationships at both individual and country-specific levels.
• Accountable for the achievement and adherence to agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the daily operations of team members; develops and implements mitigation and remediation strategies for any instances of non-compliance as necessary.
• Manages headcount for their team to ensure that resource requirements are identified and addressed promptly.
• Responsible for producing job requisitions that meet the expected quality standards.
• Actively communicates and manages customer issues through designated escalation channels.
• Ensures quality and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions (SOP/WIs) as well as federal, local guidelines, and ICH Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
• Guarantees that all staff complete the required training and necessary documentation.
• Provides regular updates on compliance to management as appropriate.
• Conducts oversight visits for Clinical Research Associates as needed.
• Oversees all system updates and ensures compliance with relevant procedures and practices applicable to the client and Syneos Health processes.
• Promotes knowledge sharing within their team to disseminate best practices and lessons learned in support of the overall FSP 360 operating model.
• Makes informed, data-driven decisions that positively influence the performance of their team within the business unit.
• Responsible for achieving Business Unit revenue targets by attracting and retaining suitable talent.
• Balances the appropriate team size and skill level in line with expected customer delivery.
• May act as a Company representative at professional meetings or seminars.
• Manages team members’ performance actively through the established Syneos Health processes at an individual contributor level.
• Ensures that team members comply with training guidelines, maintain their training records, and that individual and corporate training needs are identified and addressed.
• Provides administrative oversight, including HR processes, timecards, and expense reports.
• Aids team members’ professional growth through coaching, offering opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills, and by delegating tasks appropriate to skill level.
• Works proactively to ensure that team members’ engagement, retention, and turnover rates stay within expected parameters.
• Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by continuously developing all staff, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Understanding of local laws.
• Several years of Clinical Research Associate (CRA) experience in Germany.
• Experience in line management.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Moderate critical thinking skills are expected.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Ability to manage necessary travel for monitoring and evaluation visits.
