Manager, Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and finalization of SEC filings

• Create new disclosures in accordance with US GAAP

• Compile financial statements and cash flow reports

• Manage the quarterly reporting process

• Act as a liaison with external auditors

• Perform research on peer disclosures

• Support monthly accounting closing activities

• Provide guidance to junior accounting team members

• Continuously improve SEC reporting procedures

• Uphold and enhance internal controls

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 4 years of direct experience in SEC reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Active CPA license is highly preferred

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Proficient in SEC reporting software and ERP systems

• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized with strong time management abilities
