This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide mentorship and expand a team of field sales professionals focused on advisory clients, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to performance evaluation.
• Establish and monitor operational and business development metrics, delivering performance insights to the executive team.
• Develop new business pipelines within the advisory sector, forge strategic partnerships, and assist in closing significant deals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to achieve common goals throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Utilize sales data to make accurate forecasts and highlight important trends for leadership.
• Represent Ideals and its core values during crucial interactions with advisory firms and at industry events in NYC and beyond.
• Remain updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to guide strategic planning for the advisory sector.
• A bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in new business development and closing roles (B2B), including sales across multiple geographic areas.
• At least 2 years of experience in outbound sales management, including the hiring, motivation, and development of teams with 4 or more employees.
• A professional background in B2B SaaS, with experience in managing high-velocity and high-volume sales strategies.
• Extensive experience in system transactional sales and methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a commitment to talent development and exceptional verbal/written communication skills in English.
• High energy, resilience, and a robust drive for achieving results.
• Preferred: Experience specifically in financial, legal, or consulting advisory fields, with a thorough understanding of M&A workflows.
