This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete ownership of the field program: You will strategize and execute Engine's comprehensive field marketing program, which includes selecting events, targeting and recruiting audiences, managing content and event schedules, executing on-site activities, and conducting follow-up and pipeline reporting. You will control the calendar and metrics.

• Traditional field events: Organize customer dinners, sporting event suites, activations, and regional roadshows. Collaborate with go-to-market leadership to ensure the event mix aligns with pipeline targets and territorial priorities.

• Innovative in-person activations: Discover, test, and scale unique channels to engage buyers, such as job site visits, office drop-ins, and other activations that connect with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Adopt a test-and-learn approach: establish hypotheses, define Minimum Viable Experiments (MDE), provide post-event analyses, and decide whether to continue or discontinue initiatives.

• Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) and partnership management: Oversee Engine's relationships with regional travel organizations and partners, and develop a playbook to replicate this model in additional locations.

• Accountability for pipeline: Influence new logo acquisition, accelerate opportunities, and expand customer relationships sourced or influenced through field activities. Provide comprehensive post-event reports to sales, growth, and executive leadership.

• Collaboration with sales teams: Work closely with Account Executives (AEs), Account Managers (AMs), and sales leadership on account targeting, event preparation, and follow-up after events.

• Team leadership: Lead and nurture a team of two while actively contributing as a senior individual contributor. Establish quality standards for programs, elevate creative output, and develop career pathways as the function evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation, with a minimum of 1 year in a managerial role or functioning as a player-coach.

• Extensive field marketing expertise: You have managed a full calendar, achieved pipeline targets, and recognize the distinction between merely hosting an event and effectively running a program.

• Proficient in AI execution: You can independently deliver copy, manage lists, and execute follow-up sequences, with tools like Claude or GPT seamlessly integrated into your workflows.

• Skilled in experimentation: You understand how to evaluate risks, establish success metrics, and transform one-time activations into sustainable playbooks. You strive to elevate standards beyond what is currently acceptable.

• Strong analytical skills: You are adept in Salesforce and a Business Intelligence (BI) tool, able to analyze pipeline funnels, and discern which metrics are reliable and which require scrutiny.

• Collaborative sales experience: You have worked closely with AEs and sales leadership, and are knowledgeable about driving account targeting and ensuring follow-through efficiently.

• Strategic systems thinker: You can differentiate between established strategies worth scaling and innovative experiments worth testing, and you can effectively sequence both across your calendar.

• Hands-on leadership: You develop strategies while also crafting the operational details yourself.
