This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the strategic planning and implementation of internal meetings, sales events, recognition initiatives, healthcare conferences, and trade exhibitions.
• Lead a team of event planners to ensure consistent execution, excellence in project management, and outstanding attendee experiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Enablement, and leadership teams to align events with business priorities and commercial goals.
• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, event budgets, and onsite execution to guarantee that programs are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Manage Solventum’s convention and tradeshow portfolio, which includes exhibit strategy, lead capture, CRM integration, and evaluation of post-event performance.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare industry regulations and data privacy standards.
• Implement technology, automation, and best practices that enhance planning efficiency, reporting, and attendee engagement.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and performance scorecards to illustrate event effectiveness and business impact.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in corporate or commercial event management, including experience leading large-scale meetings, sales and incentive events, and/or association congresses and tradeshows.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale corporate meetings, sales events, incentive programs, healthcare conferences, and tradeshows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage direct reports.
• Strong skills in project management, budgeting, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with event technologies such as Cvent, Concur, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of AdvaMed Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Experience in MedTech, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.
• Professional certifications like CMP, CMM, or HMCC are preferred.
• A Master's degree (MBA or related) or advanced coursework in marketing, hospitality, or healthcare management.
