This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Comprehend business processes, document the current underwriter experience, and pinpoint opportunities to enhance user experience through analytics and automation.
• Collaborate internally and externally to actively participate in developing an analytics-driven future state vision for prioritized work areas.
• Work alongside Arch's Operations and IT teams to convert solution design into functional requirements that guide UI/UX development.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and drive consensus around the future state vision.
• Serve as a strategic advisor on large and medium-sized initiatives, offering insights and recommendations regarding analytics and automation solutions within technology platforms and operations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through consistent communication and regular touchpoints.
• Proactively raise risks and issues to leadership as they emerge.
• Assist in establishing best practices and repeatable processes that can be applied across various business units.
• Over 5 years of experience in property/casualty insurance business process analysis and process improvement, preferably in commercial lines underwriting.
• Exceptional teamwork abilities are essential for playing a key role in cross-functional teams; capability to collaborate and foster trusting relationships with business partners.
• A solid understanding of the property/casualty insurance sector and a genuine passion for the industry.
• Proven history of recognizing opportunities for transforming business processes.
• Demonstrable ability to lead discussions and synthesize input from diverse stakeholders to achieve consensus on approaches.
• Established record of working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Strong organizational skills encompassing task management, time management, and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to individuals across the organization.
• Natural curiosity to understand, question as necessary, and enhance the surrounding environment.
• Capability to extract and apply insights from other projects and to build scalable, repeatable business frameworks.
