Manager, Enterprise Application – 6 Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Business Analysts and Software Developers in executing project workstreams, web-based software integrations, as well as application support and enhancements.

• Spearhead the intricate solution design initiatives in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Offer functional and technical expertise on application architecture and system integrations to facilitate secure, scalable connectivity throughout the enterprise application ecosystem.

• Manage, prioritize, and assign application support tickets utilizing standard ITSM tools.

• Enhance and support the improvement of the intake process for enhancements.

• Effectively manage and collaborate with third-party vendors to prioritize their ongoing work items.

• Act as a pivotal force in ensuring the team adheres to scalable and sustainable delivery models and platforms.

• Assist in translating complex business requirements into detailed business and technical specifications when necessary.

• Regularly collaborate with various departments and operational teams to envision solution value and long-term benefits.

• Maintain an objective stance to provide advisory and technology-driven solutions that align with both business and IT roadmaps.

• Take ownership of issues or challenges within the function and ensure they are resolved appropriately.

• Review and provide constructive feedback on project or technical documentation and deliverables from the team or third-party providers.

• Document application functionality and training materials, conducting end-user training sessions as needed.

• Collaborate with team members on professional development and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong functional and technical proficiency in supporting a diverse range of enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with modern web application development and API technologies (e.g., .NET, Angular, REST APIs) is highly advantageous.

• Experience collaborating with Accounting & Finance teams is a significant asset.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Concur, and Azure DevOps is beneficial.

• Strong emphasis on quality of work and delivery outcomes.

• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Exceptional ability to comprehend complex business requirements and processes.

• Outstanding ability to collaborate across all levels within the IT and Business organization.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage deliverables across multiple projects and workstreams.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong comprehension of change management practices.

• Self-driven with a high level of initiative and accountability.

• Strong leadership and management skills in a team setting.

• University or postgraduate degree in business, computer science, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a team of business/programmer analysts.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT/IS, business process management, and/or application management roles.
