This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a Managed Services Engineering team responsible for delivering cloud, automation, observability, security, infrastructure, and managed operations services.

• Take ownership of end-to-end service delivery and operational performance for designated government customer environments.

• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, SLAs, SLOs, operational standards, and relevant government mandates.

• Implement service level agreements utilizing operational frameworks, SOPs, runbooks, service management practices, and governance processes.

• Foster continuous service improvement across processes, tools, automation, service health, resilience, customer experience, security, and team performance.

• Allocate engineering resources to support, maintain, modernize, secure, and optimize cloud and hybrid technology services.

• Establish on-call and escalation protocols for coverage, response, and operational continuity.

• Identify opportunities for automation to minimize manual effort, enhance reliability, and boost scalability.

• Act as the product owner for designated cloud, hybrid infrastructure, automation, observability, and managed operations offerings.

• Promote responsible AI adoption, curiosity, experimentation, and ongoing learning as a leader.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required, along with 5 years of experience, OR 9 years of relevant work experience.

• Previous experience in consulting, managed services, cloud operations, infrastructure operations, or engineering leadership is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITIL-based process management, service delivery frameworks, operational governance, and continuous improvement is beneficial.

• Capability to lead teams, achieve consensus, prioritize tasks, and drive measurable outcomes is desirable.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

• Experience with enterprise technology vendors, cloud providers, managed service platforms, or service management tools is a plus.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary is a plus.

• Proficiency in cloud and hybrid infrastructure, automation, observability, security, and managed operations is required.

• Competence in managing SLAs, SLOs, contracts, statements of work, runbooks, service management practices, and governance processes is necessary.

• Comfort in guiding responsible AI adoption and nurturing a culture of continuous learning is essential.
