Manager, Engagement & Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• The Manager, Engagement & Enablement is vital in bringing PMI’s thought leadership to life through people, partnerships, and platforms.

• This position entails cultivating and managing networks of subject matter experts, forging strategic partnerships, and ensuring the adoption, amplification, and localization of PMI’s research and insights across various regions, communities, enterprises, and external ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred in communications, business, public policy, international relations, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in engagement, partnerships, enablement, stakeholder management, or roles related to thought leadership.

• Proven experience in managing external relationships, partnerships, or contributor networks.

• Experience in designing and delivering events, programs, or engagements tailored for executives.

• Background in working within complex, matrixed organizations or global environments.

• Experience in leading teams or project-based contributors across different geographies.

• Familiarity with project management, sustainability, AI, or domains within professional services is a plus.

• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.

• A strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of engagement and activation processes.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to influence across functions and regions without formal authority.

• Adept at operating in uncertain environments and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Strong organizational skills and portfolio management capabilities.

• Confident in facilitation and presentation, exhibiting executive presence.

• Collaborative, diplomatic, and oriented towards external engagement.

• Proficient in English (PMI’s business language); fluency in additional languages is highly preferred.
