Manager, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define, implement, and enhance DevOps practices, platforms, and processes.

• Oversee the governance of release management and ensure release readiness.

• Coordinate activities for cross-functional releases.

• Supervise the triage and management of production incidents.

• Establish and track metrics related to delivery, stability, and reliability.

• Offer technical guidance on DevOps platforms, pipelines, and tools.

• Lead by influence to promote the adoption of DevOps standards.

• Manage vendor relationships in line with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the IT/business sector across various platforms and technologies.

• More than 3 years of experience in cloud environments, ideally with AWS.

• At least 3 years of experience in release management, project management, or software development.

• A minimum of 2 years leading or managing technical teams.

• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

• In-depth expertise in release management, application management, and CI/CD tools.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
