Manager, Dental Contract Negotiations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the daily operations and execution of strategies related to the recruitment and contracting of dental providers, including dentists, dental group practices, and facilities.

• Serves as the project leader for ground campaigns within designated territories.

• Oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of region-specific ground campaigns aimed at targeted recruiting efforts.

• Develops and enforces best practices and strategies for effective provider negotiations.

• Engages in the recruitment of dental providers to enhance access and/or improve network utilization/Net Effective Discount for key clients and the overall Book of Business (BOB).

• Provides support and assistance to network management on essential projects.

• Leads and/or creates and executes initiatives to enhance the provider experience.

• Delivers presentations on network strategies, plans, staffing models, and related materials for sales pitches.

• Designs and implements training programs and educational resources for providers and internal recruitment/network teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in health or dental insurance, or at least 3 years in provider contracting or sales/account management.

• Proficient analytical skills.

• Familiarity with dental provider and group contracting, healthcare products such as PPO, Medicare, and DHMO, as well as claims and processing systems.

• Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office products, Teams, Excel, and Salesforce.

• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills to engage with all levels of corporate personnel and providers.

• Experience in team leadership or project management to guide or contribute to projects or initiatives.
