Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects – Digital Native Business

📋 Description

• Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop Data Solution Architects (DSAs) who can assist DNB customers in achieving production success across diverse Data, AI, and ML workloads.

• Accelerate Path to Production: Motivate your team to reduce friction, eliminate obstacles, simplify onboarding, and empower customers to deploy impactful workloads into production more swiftly.

• Maintain Technical Excellence: Ensure that you and your team remain at the forefront of the industry with advanced expertise in Databricks and the wider Data and AI ecosystem, committing to continuous learning and certification achievements.

• Collaborate for Customer Growth: Work closely with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services to develop cohesive customer strategies that enhance adoption and deliver measurable ROI.

• Champion Operational Rigor: Implement systems for monitoring, forecasting, and communicating workload progress, usage growth, and customer health metrics.

• Be a Thought Leader and Sponsor: Act as the technical champion for selected DNB accounts, engaging with technical leads and executives to define customer success strategies at scale.

• Contribute to the DSA Practice: Initiate and drive efforts that improve consistency, scalability, and innovation within the DSA organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in customer-facing technical positions (such as Architecture, Field Engineering, or similar roles focusing on Data and AI), including a minimum of 3 years in leadership roles with technical teams.

• Proficient in cloud-based Lakehouse architectures, especially in guiding customers through migrations and modernization using cloud-native architectural principles.

• Demonstrated success in expediting workloads to production and ensuring ongoing success on cloud-native platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of and capability to lead complex architectural discussions pertaining to distributed data systems and cloud-native environments.

• Practical experience with SQL, an Object-Oriented Programming Language (preferably Python, SQL, or Scala), conducting code reviews, and participating in architecture design sessions.

• Specialized knowledge in Data and AI domains, including Analytics, Data Warehousing, ETL, Streaming, and/or ML/AI productionization.

• Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in managing escalations, forecasting usage growth, and operationalizing customer success initiatives.

• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; serve as a trusted advisor to technical leaders and C-level stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Willingness to travel up to 30% as necessary.
