Manager, Data Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee management and leadership of teams and projects within the Data Management department for effective study execution and budget oversight.

• Serve as the main point of contact for any escalations related to specific studies (both internal and external).

• Represent the organization at sponsor governance meetings.

• Ensure appropriate allocation of staff to projects based on their skills and competencies, while providing necessary oversight, training, and mentoring.

• Confirm that projects within the team are adequately resourced, and that any operational or budgetary risks are identified and addressed.

• Establish and track objectives for individual team members, ensuring opportunities for career advancement and personal growth are available.

• Assist Business Development personnel by contributing to the preparation of proposals and presentations for sponsors.

• Engage in sponsor audits, regulatory inspections, and other third-party meetings as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related field — or an equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in clinical data management or a similar role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors.

• 2-4 years of experience in line management.

• In-depth knowledge of data management best practices and technologies applicable to clinical trials.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various internal and external teams.

• Strong project management capabilities and experience in overseeing data management teams and projects with regard to operational and budgetary supervision.

• Strong independent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
