Manager, Data Extraction – OpenData, EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of 6-8 analysts, including recruitment and performance evaluation.

• Collaborate with product managers to manage the team’s workload effectively.

• Ensure high standards for the quality of extracted data.

• Choose appropriate tools for data extraction and crawling for the team.

• Guarantee the timely delivery of extracted data and reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading a technical team.

• Strong grasp of best practices, such as version control and code reviews.

• Practical experience in developing robust and scalable crawlers.

• Solid understanding of data structures and data models.

• Skills in project and task management.

• Basic knowledge of Python.
