Manager – Corporate Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assess security concerns at various field locations and propose effective solutions.

• Carry out investigations and offer guidance and support to field operations to uncover the root causes of theft, fraud, or other acts of violence in the workplace.

• Collaborate with Corporate Audit and Compliance on internal investigations.

• Develop and implement effective security systems for both new startups and existing field locations.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of field locations, providing performance updates to operational leadership teams and the Sr. Manager of Corporate Security.

• Identify underperforming operations and non-compliance issues, ensuring that corrective actions are established to meet desired performance levels.

• Oversee, enhance, and ensure compliance with Ryder and customer security requirements.

• Track new business startup activities and support new customer launches in designing and implementing effective security processes and management.

• Deliver security training programs for field operations and coach field location managers to enhance security performance.

• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement during investigations, arrests, and prosecutions of individuals committing crimes against Ryder.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminology or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of general corporate security experience, including loss prevention, security risk analysis, security audits, and investigations.

• Familiarity with security systems, such as intrusion detection (burglar alarms), access control, and video surveillance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and online web-based services.

• Willingness to travel 20% - 30% of the time.
