This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Engage in M&A and other inorganic activities in close collaboration with the C-Suite and relevant corporate stakeholders, collaborating with both direct and cross-functional teams.

• Develop and present investment recommendations for evaluation by senior executives and the board.

• Facilitate and support the due diligence and deal execution processes, including negotiations and the management of cross-functional teams and external advisors.

• Propel the implementation of a transformational M&A strategy across various business lines.

• Participate in mission-critical strategic initiatives, working directly with C-suite executives.

• Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide data-driven insights that enhance strategic decision-making and improve business performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in M&A (investment banking/private equity, corporate M&A, or transaction advisory services).

• While not mandatory, the ideal candidate should have most of their investment banking or corporate development experience within the engineering, infrastructure, utility, or broader industrial sectors.

• Possess an analytical, methodical, and rigorous approach; capable of independently deconstructing complex business challenges, conducting research and analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into a value-maximizing business strategy.

• Ability to break down a problem into an organized framework and quickly formulate a hypothesis for testing, as well as the skill to convey complex concepts and ideas in concise and understandable terms.

• Effective communication skills with executive-level and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing.

• Exhibit high levels of empathy, exceptional communication abilities, and a willingness to receive feedback.

• Capability to work independently while managing and leading team members across business units, acting as an honest broker and objective sounding board, which is vital for this role's success.

• Proficient in prioritizing numerous initiatives.

• Ability to adapt quickly as demands change in real-time and adjust workflows to accommodate practical time constraints is essential.
