This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• The Manager of Core Compensation is tasked with the design, implementation, and management of base compensation programs that align with the organization’s talent strategy and business goals.
• This position guarantees that compensation frameworks are competitive, equitable, and in line with market dynamics and internal pay philosophies.
• The Manager oversees and cultivates a remotely-based team of compensation specialists, offering guidance, coaching, and oversight to ensure high-quality analysis, consistent practices, and effective service delivery.
• The role includes strategic consulting, tactical execution, and leadership of project initiatives.
• This position offers thought leadership and consultation to Senior Leaders, HR leaders, and cross-functional business unit teams to develop programs that align with organizational and departmental priorities.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent relevant education and/or experience is required.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Compensation with a focused approach.
• Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years of people management experience is necessary.
• Experience in designing programs aimed at achieving business/organizational objectives, particularly focusing on executive and management-level alignment and considering market data.
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; capability to interact with all levels within the organization and with external partners in a fully remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to present information through virtual platforms to groups of varying sizes and job levels, including executives.
• Capability to lead and develop teams, prioritize tasks, multitask, and be accountable for team and departmental deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in conducting research, staying informed about market changes, engaging external consultants when necessary, and delivering presentations to stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, along with attention to detail and accuracy, are essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications or similar software, Workday, and Market Pay is required.
• Travel requirements: Minimal domestic travel for meetings as needed.
