Manager, Construction Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the construction suicide prevention learning collaboratives utilizing AFSP’s bidirectional learning model, which includes planning and facilitation.

• Recruit and engage subject matter experts and participants to promote knowledge sharing and capacity building through collaborative learning cohorts.

• Contribute to AFSP’s Hard Hat Courage campaign and educational strategy by fostering partnerships with stakeholders in the construction industry, delivering suicide prevention programs, and supporting training strategies, resource development, and operational tasks.

• Enhance program innovation and continuous improvement by engaging in internal and external discussions and executing tasks that improve program delivery.

• Collaborate with the team to create clear, evidence-informed messaging tailored for the construction industry.

• Document and synthesize insights from learning collaborative cohorts, producing thorough summaries and recommendations for future construction suicide prevention initiatives.

• Work with interdisciplinary teams and committees to support organizational objectives, strengthen internal processes, and enhance AFSP’s public image.

• Assist with content reviews and updates, and collaborate with communications to create promotional materials that comply with AFSP guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in facilitating both virtual and in-person meetings.

• Preferred 5+ years of experience in developing and/or delivering health education programming to diverse audiences.

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.

• Advanced skills in Zoom, Teams, and other virtual meeting platforms.

• Proficiency in project management software.
