This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Oversee project and portfolio management for designated product categories, encompassing innovation (growth), maintenance, graphic updates, cost-saving measures, and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Create, communicate, and manage project timelines to fulfill both internal and customer requirements.
• Recognize, track, and alleviate project risks, issues, dependencies, and necessary decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate and assist in the stage gate commercialization process across designated projects.
• Take ownership of the creation and maintenance of finished goods material specifications, either directly or through team assistance.
• Monitor, manage, and report on commercialization KPIs for the assigned categories.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Regulatory, Planning, Operations, Procurement, and Quality, to enhance speed-to-market execution.
• Act as the primary point of accountability for end-to-end commercialization processes within Growth Units and project teams.
• Foster alignment and influence among cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority to achieve project goals.
• Contribute to the achievement of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives through effective project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Commercialization Analysts, as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercialization, project management, operations, or a related field is required.
• Experience in a cross-functional setting, ideally within consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems, evaluate risks, and devise effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management tools is preferred.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
