This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Study Abroad Advisor team: mentor, guide, and ensure the staff's success, which includes conducting annual performance reviews and supporting goal setting each year.

• Assist Study Abroad Advisors by providing them with the necessary knowledge, tools, and strategies to achieve or surpass enrollment goals.

• Provide regular updates regarding the team's progress towards their objectives using CRM systems, ad hoc reports, and various other tools.

• Schedule and lead weekly meetings with both the team and individual staff members.

• Consistently evaluate internal processes and procedures alongside student evaluation outcomes to guarantee exceptional customer service throughout the application process.

• Collaborate closely with various internal departments such as Billing, Institutional Relations, Marketing, Academic Affairs, IT, and international staff to strategize recruitment, marketing, and application conversion efforts.

• Serve as the Enrollment department liaison for key sending institutions.

• Engage in special projects and strategic initiatives, such as in-office visa processing and supporting mission-driven programs.

• Oversee the hiring and training process for new staff members.

• Cultivate a positive, growth-oriented environment for team members, encouraging innovative thinking.

• Always demonstrate sound professional judgment and consideration in promptly addressing any issues or inquiries from students, parents, and CIEE staff.

• Represent CIEE with integrity, accuracy, and in alignment with its mission.

• Carry out other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Management or strong leadership experience is essential, including the capability to guide a team towards achieving its goals and objectives.

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service-oriented role; prior interest in education abroad or higher education is preferred.

• International study or work experience is necessary.

• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Capacity to quickly learn new processes, take initiative, and offer suggestions for improving efficiency.

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.

• High tolerance for ambiguity with the flexibility to respond swiftly and suitably to changing circumstances and priorities.

• Demonstrated success in meeting sales or enrollment targets is strongly preferred.

• Strong service skills with the ability to resolve issues fairly and promptly.

• Must be able to convey empathy and control during phone and email communications.

• A team player and self-starter who can exercise sound judgment regarding time management and sensitive material handling.

• Significant experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce CRM system is preferred.

• Must be comfortable learning new databases and technologies.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally in support of programs.
