Manager, Clinical Pastoral Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee Mercy's ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs.

• Ensure adherence to ACPE accreditation standards and requirements.

• Design and instruct curriculum for Level I, Level II, and Certified Educator Candidate (CEC) programs.

• Provide clinical supervision and educational guidance to CPE students.

• Engage in student recruitment, admissions processes, interviews, and evaluations.

• Collaborate with Spiritual Care leaders, Mission leaders, and chaplain colleagues.

• Maintain necessary accreditation records, documentation, and reporting.

• Facilitate the formation and development of future Mercy chaplains and spiritual care professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate Theological Degree.

• Completion of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education.

• A minimum of two years as an ACPE Certified Educator Candidate.

• Certification as a Certified Educator, National Faculty Eligible through ACPE.

• Board Certified Eligible through a recognized chaplain certification organization.
