This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead and/or assist in the development and documentation of new or revised departmental procedures to ensure operational efficiency and excellence.
• Propose suitable departmental objectives that align with the company's strategy and goals, and devise solutions to tackle business and operational challenges.
• Direct working groups and/or committees to establish goals and implement initiatives aimed at addressing gaps in processes or procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Data Management technology, processes, and standards.
• Engage in project and departmental budget development, ensuring effective management of budgets for assigned projects and personnel.
• Participate in the assessment and selection of data system vendors to improve Data Management processes, such as EDC, IRT, ePRO, and eConsent.
• Contribute to the financial success of the department and company by managing the financial aspects of assigned programs, including Work Orders, Change Orders, study forecasting, and budgeting.
• Identify and quantify resource needs for current and future projects; conduct interviews, hire, onboard, and train new staff as necessary.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide leadership while maintaining positive team morale; facilitate conflict resolution.
• Oversee the development of direct reports by establishing and tracking individual objectives and key results that support departmental and company strategies.
• Assess training needs and conduct performance evaluations for assigned team members.
• Prioritize and supervise activities for assigned staff.
• Ensure that Data Management deliverables for assigned projects meet or exceed the expectations of the project/study team regarding quality, timelines, and costs.
• Act as the subject matter expert on data collection strategies and management of study data for assigned programs, collaborating effectively with programming to ensure clinical databases are designed in a standardized, accurate, complete, and consistent manner to produce datasets suitable for analysis and potential regulatory submission.
• Proactively identify data management project challenges, manage risks, and inform Senior Department Management for remedial action.
• Interact and liaise with other departments to ensure a high level of client satisfaction through successful issue resolution and project execution.
• May collaborate with other departments and analysts on special projects to ensure that company processes and technologies are efficient, effective, and work seamlessly to enhance customer value.
• May represent Data Management at business development, sponsor, or other professional meetings.
• Assist the business development team with RFIs, RFPs, and project pricing.
• Candidates should possess a minimum of a college diploma/degree and 7-9 years of relevant experience. CCDM certification is considered a valuable asset.
