Manager, Clinical Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, negotiate, and implement site budgets while ensuring consistency across multiple Crinetics’ studies.

• Collaborate closely with global CRO partners to create site budget templates and manage negotiation processes for Crinetics.

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies/SOPs, ICH-GCP compliance, and FMV regulations.

• Monitor site budget metrics to evaluate performance (e.g., accelerating start-up timelines and achieving negotiated cost savings) and promote process enhancements.

• Build and nurture strong relationships both internally across departments and externally.

• Work collaboratively with Legal, Finance, and Clinical Operations teams.

• Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

• At least 3 years of direct experience in site budget negotiation within a CRO, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical organization.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial site budget development, negotiation, and contract management.

• Familiarity with Investigator site grant budget tools, such as Grants Manager, GrantPlan, etc.

• Strong understanding of drug development processes and Clinical Operations.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel).

• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal supervision.
